When It Comes to Content, You Really Never Know

My top performing YouTube video doesn't have any of the following:

An outline, much less a script

Ads or promotion of any kind

A fancy thumbnail

But yet, it's out-performed even my most well planned videos.

In fact, I remember the day I decided to record it 2 years ago.

I was sitting around in my favorite sweatshirt and felt compelled to make a video about the project coordinator role due to some recent questions I had received from viewers.

Not the most riveting topic, but I turned on the camera and talked for 7 minutes about it anyway, sharing everything I knew to help job seekers.

Turns out that's what people wanted.

Nearly two years later it continues to rank as my top performing video each month.

It's earned me hundreds of new subscribers, many new connections here, collaboration opportunities and clients.

My point is: you never how the decisions you make today will impact your future.

And when it comes to content, you really never know. 😅

So why not just go for it?
