Hi, my name is Kayla and I have spent the past 15 years working with entrepreneurs to launch and scale startup operations. 

With experience that spans disciplines, I have a knack for forming and executing visionary plans without sacrificing agility or compromising the team’s wellbeing, a skill I credit to a deep understanding of project management fundamentals.

My background in business building helped make it a natural move when it came time to embark on my freelancing career in 2020. Through my consulting company, I have built and executed project management training programs, coached hundreds of project managers as they launch their freelancing careers, and advised founders on operational strategy and project best practices, leading to growth and scale. Additionally, my e-book “The Freelance Project Manager Guide Book” has served as a blueprint for aspiring freelancers worldwide.

Beyond consulting, I love sharing my passion for project management on my YouTube channel as well as LinkedIn. My original content has been applauded for closing the gap between the technical knowledge needed to excel as a project manager and the day to day reality of life as a freelancer. And finally, as an avid writer, I was recently invited to co-author the project management book “Executing Excellence”, where I shared more about the intersection of freelancing and project management.
