If I Could Choose to Be Anything

If I could choose to be anything, I would choose to be of service.

Not because it sounds like a good answer or because that's what I think others expect of me, but because it feels like the most authentic representation of, well, me.

To use my lessons learned to help others.

To be brave and go first, because I know I can and it needs to be done.

To serve as a source of strength and encouragement when I have those things to give.

By the way, none of this is particularly easy for me. Just because it feels right doesn't mean it's always effortless.

Putting my real face on the internet...sharing my real thoughts...offering my services in a way that reflect my gifts...on a "professional" platform, no less 😅

Isn't it interesting that being authentic isn't actually as easy as it sounds?

But the more I practice it, the more I know it's where I'm supposed to be. No matter if it is hard sometimes.

Which leads me back to where we started...

If I could choose to be anything, I would choose to be of service.

Well, the good news is, I can choose. And so can you.
