Freelancing was a risk that gave me possibilities
I haven't don't anything that impressive, except make a life and an opportunity for myself when it felt like there was none.
Freelancing was a risk that gave me possibilities.
And when you don't have a lot to lose, the risk isn't as great. Looking back, I probably had that going for me. 😅
But still, it's not easy.
Many of you know I started out managing projects for agencies and small businesses, at times supplementing that income with cleaning houses to make ends meet.
I graduated into consulting projects then building programs, and now I'm a fractional "COO."
All the while I was pouring my energy and heart into sharing my knowledge on YouTube, and later here on LinkedIn.
The effort compounded and the doors started to open.
But it takes time. And I wouldn't have gotten here if I hadn't believed in myself just a tiny bit and taken the risk.
Now, I don't want anyone to feel trapped like I did. I want people to know there are possibilities, whether that's finding a few jobs here and there or building an entire business.
It's a big part of why I'm here, to pay it forward (from my older self to my younger self).
So if you need help getting started, I have plenty of free resources available. Check out the link in my profile.
I made them for you.
And, most of all, believe that you can do it. Because you can.
Have a great weekend. 💫
