My Timeline Is So Flawed

My timeline is so flawed.

As a project manager and as a human.

That's because I don't control everything, and neither do you.

For me, the past month has been a masterclass in welcoming unforeseen circumstances with grace.

What I have found is we must learn to adapt and sometimes completely let go of our expectations of the outcome.

Circumstances will always occur beyond our control.

We get to choose whether to approach them with curiosity or fear.

We get to choose whether to turn them into lessons or be defined by the "failure."

We get to choose whether to be inspired by a spirit of growth or hide from ourselves in an effort to avoid future pain.

And, as long as we are alive, the journey continues.

So you might as well embrace it.
