Focus on goals and strategy before execution

What you think is important when you start working for yourself:

  • Painting your home office a new color (because you have to be "on brand").

  • Spending your days at mastermind sessions (because that's what entrepreneurs do).

  • Buying all the fancy tech equipment you've been eyeing (because now you can call it "an investment").

What is actually important:

  • Getting clear about your offer.

  • Networking, then networking some more.

  • Selling your product or service, then selling some more.

I'm guessing some of this might resonate with a few of you 😉.

And you're not alone - I've definitely missed the mark when it comes to prioritizing my time.

Not to say the items in the first list aren't worth doing, but do yourself a favor and make sure they are the best use of your time and energy.

Focus on goals and strategy before execution. 💫
