When my world got turned upside down, I decided I wanted to do something different.

Instead of rebuild the same life I thought everyone else wanted me to live, I decided to build a new life that I wanted to live.

A life focused on purpose, freedom, and a lot of hard work.

Not everyone understands this choice.

In fact, I often get the side-eye when I tell people what I do.

They are so confused about why I would want to work for myself versus get a paycheck every two weeks, company paid health insurance and vacation days.

(I've learned people love to project their own fears on others, so I try not to take it personally).

But the truth is, living this way has given me so much more than I ever expected.

And it goes well beyond the "freelance project management" work that you might know me for.

Stuff like:

⭐ Working with organizations who are committed to making a positive impact in the world.

⭐ Volunteering in my community to help others heal from trauma.

⭐ Creating resources to teach others how to live independently.

⭐ Mentoring early career women around the world.

I've learned that building a business, when done with passion and purpose will provide endless doors of opportunity.

So I just keep opening them.

And I keep finding more, so that I can give more.

That's how it works and that's what it's all about. 💫
