What is a Confident Decision-Maker?
My projects almost always go smoothly when there is a confident decision maker at the lead. πͺπ»
Because I want to be a confident decision maker myself, I've observed what these individuals do differently and here's what I've come up with:
β‘ Confident decision makers understand what they need and why they need it.
β‘ Confident decision makers can make quick decisions because they are armed with information and data to do so.
β‘ Confident decision makers understand many decisions can be changed or even reversed, so fear of a "bad decision" is usually not a good excuse for inaction.
β‘ Confident decision makers trust themselves, but they also operate with discernment and know when it's best to defer to someone else.
β‘ Confident decision makers take ownership of their decisions.
