“Inspirational content won’t get you clients.”

“Inspirational content won’t get you clients.”

I see variations of this claim frequently.

But it isn't true.

I’m not sure how I would technically classify my content, but a good chunk of it might be what’s referred to as “inspirational.”

Not the kind where I’m re-posting quotes or generic motivational phrases, but actual anecdotes from my real life that are thoughtfully woven together in such a way as to speak to you.

Suffice it to say, there’s raw passion behind my words.

And because of that, I’ve attracted the exact people and opportunities I seek.

In fact, I’ve never once had someone reach out and say “your project management inforgraphic spoke to my soul, can we work together?”

Instead, usually the first thing my clients say is something along the lines of: “your content touched me”, “I felt like you were telling my story”, or “reading your words made me feel seen.”

First of all, this makes my heart happy.

Second, it proves the theory that people buy from people, and we trust others who make themselves available to us in a human way.

I hope it’s clear that’s what I stand for and why I’m here.

No short cuts for me.

Real connection, solid relationships, and meaningful work: that’s what I’m looking for. 💫

(Note: Of course, non-inspirational content can get you clients too. Different strategy, different clients - there are really no rules to any of this 😅)
